Travis Greene and Wife Celebrate 8 Years of Marriage: ‘I vow to be your Best Friend’

Acclaimed Worship Artist and Pastor, Travis Greene is celebrating 8 amazing years of marriage with his beloved wife Dr. Jacqueline Greene, a professional Dentist and Co-Pastor of Forward City Church.

The couple who are blessed with three sons; Travis Joshua, David Jace, and Judah met when Jacqueline was nineteen while Travis was twenty-two at a college ministry event in 2007. The couple, who together pastor Forward City Church in Colombia, SC, dated long distance for four years and finally tied the knot in 2011.

Taking to Instagram to share his delight, Greene wrote:

“Happy 8 Years to my angel!! God gave me His best when He gave me you! Thank you for saying yes 2,920 days ago!! We’re just getting started, my love! ??♥”

In a later post, Travis penned a heartfelt message to his lovely wife which he titles “Surprise Vow Renewal ??‍♀️?“

“I’ve made many mistakes in 35 years of Living but marrying u was the Best Decision I’ve ever made. These past 8 years have been the best years of my Life. Ever since I was a Teenager, I prayed that God would reveal my Wife before He fulfilled the Promises on my Life. I knew how Vital it would be to have a Someone who Loved me for who I was & not for what I did. … I vow to be your Best Friend – the one you can Vent to, Dream with, Go on Vacation with, watch Movies with, and Grow Old together. “

“Through the years, you’ve challenged me to be the Best Man that I could possibly be. Yet, You never made me feel like Less than a Man for not having Enough to give a Queen who deserved Everything. The Ring that I gave u 8 years ago was from my Heart. It was my best… But I always wanted to do Better. So for our 8th Anniversary, to signify our New Beginnings, Here’s a new ring from my Heart.

His adored wife also disclosed her joy on the social media platform;

“Eight Years…Wow! We have been blessed beyond measure to have a marriage grounded in the Lord, to rear children who’s make believe games consist of stories about needing to free the Israelites from the Egyptians, a church family that holds our arms up, and family that is unified and strong! I believe the true testament of the strength of our marriage shows up in the impact God allows us to have on those that walk with us.
