Tori Kelly Drops “Pretty Fades” Live Performance Video

“I happened to be visiting home, so I grabbed all these old home videos and spent like two days crying my eyes out and not sleeping,” the LA-based singer-songwriter Tori Kelly tells Apple Music speaking on the new project. Some of those deeply personal moments are interspersed throughout her third LP—itself something of a home movie documenting her own marriage alongside the dissolution of her parents’.

Inspired by True Events, arrives less than a year after Tori’s 2018’s album Hiding Place, which found her more outwardly expressing her Christian faith and embracing a gospel-influenced sound. Produced by 12-time GRAMMY® Award winner Kirk Franklin, the collection features guest artists Lecrae, Jonathan McReynolds and The Hamiltones. The album earned Kelly two Grammy Awards, including Best Gospel Album and Best Gospel Performance/Song for the song “Never Alone.”
