2. Joe Mettle
Joe Mettle is one of Africa’s finest worship leaders who doubles as a singer-songwriter, gospel recording artist,e and producer. He was the first gospel musician to win the VGMA ‘Artiste of the Year’ award at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards in 2017
Joe Mettle has five albums to his credit including his latest, “The Experience” which dropped in June 2021. 6. Joyce Blessing
“I Swerved it’, ‘Adam Nana’, ‘Repent’, are very familiar songs in the Ghanaian Gospel music scene credited to this songstress. Joyce Blessing has evolved and keeps evolving by spicing up her upbeat danceable groove to Afrobeats and traditional highlife songs.
Joyce started ministry in 2007 with her first album, titled “Obi Ntu Nyame Fo”, which translates to English as “Nobody Advises God”. Her other projects include Promise and Fail (2012), Heavy Price (2014), and Agyebum (2017).
“Monko Moakyi”, a single from her ‘Heavy Price’ album is one of her most popular songs. The album included other hits, such as Kantamanto Nyame, Blessed Be The Lord, and Nyame Aguamma.
