“TobeChukwu (Praise God),” the much-awaited collab single from Nathaniel Bassey and Mercy Chinwo Blessed is finally out and available now to download/stream across all major digital platforms. This comes a few days after the song was teased by Nathaniel on social media which sent fans into a frenzy, having long-anticipated a collaboration from the celebrated Nigerian gospel music ministers.

A scintillating highlife midtempo garnished with sweet melodies, “TobeChukwu (Praise God)” is the first single off Nathaniel Bassey’s forthcoming new album “Hallelujah Live” due later this month. It’s a song of testimony and thanksgiving for all God has done and is still doing.

Speaking on the release, Nathaniel Bassey said “It is a joyful and danceable song that helps articulate gratitude to God for His unending Goodness and Kindness.”

“Hallelujah Live” will mark Nathaniel Bassey’s third consecutive album in three years following “The Names of God” (2022) and “Hallelujah Again” (2021). The project was recorded live in Lagos, on November 20, 2022, with star-studded guest appearances from other renowned worship leaders and ministers such as William McDowell, Sinach, Victoria Orenze, Ntokozo Mbamba, and Mercy Chinwo.
