Titilayo Ojo, the “Gba Ope” crooner kick-starts the new year with a thanksgiving single titled “Ese” (Thank You). The new song is heavy on African percussion & rhythm and is sure to stir up a heart for gratitude towards God as you reminisce on His goodness. It’s delivered with a blend of the Western-Nigerian ‘Yoruba’ dialect and English.
According to her, “Ese” is birthed out of a very deep and personal reflection on the greatness and faithfulness of God amidst the challenges of life.
“As a recipient of His life, this song is a reflection of my heart as well as my response to the giver and keeper of my life,” shares Titilayo. “‘Ese’ is an expression of gratitude to our father for both merited and unmerited benefits lavished upon us through His benevolence in the previous year.”
