Tara Danae Releases Debut Ep ‘Taking My Heart’
Nashville based singer and songwriter TARA DANAE is a new artist who’s sweet and soulful voice has been breaking through stereotypical categories to place the singer in multiple genres of music. Her lyrics strip down life to its core and offer profound hope and reinforcement to relatable life challenges. With a voice assigned to inspire and a mindset determined to break outside the box, Tara Danae has released her first project TAKING MY HEART.
TAKING MY HEART releases via AfterTouch Music, a multi-genre indie label in Nashville, TN and is available on all digital music outlets. Tara wrote all songs on the EP and some of the production credits include Roger Ryan, Michael Gaines and Marcus Perry (producers), Anton Nesbitt (bass), Joshua Lutz (guitar), Lloyd Barry (brass), Steve Brewster (drums) and background vocals by some of Nashville’s elite (Nickie Conley, Nate Bean, Terrell Hunt).
“I’m very proud and excited about the release of Tara’s new EP which marks a significant milestone in her career and also in the life of AfterTouch Music,” says Roger Ryan, CEO of AfterTouch Music. “Her single ‘I Find Rest’ has been on the charts for over a year and now we’re releasing TAKING MY HEART with anxious anticipation.”
Tara’s lead single from the EP is the passionate contemporary ballad “I Find Rest”, which continues to find favorable airplay at Gospel radio stations across the country. Tara also collaborates with hit making rap artist PETTIDEE on the song “In A Box”, an urban/pop track with a powerful message encouraging the audacity of individuality and confidence.
“Tara’s music reaches a broad audience of listeners as it touches and encourages people,” Ryan continues to share. “She’s a writer who writes from her heart and soul and, as she goes through life, she deals with her journey with questions and resolve through these beautifully penned songs.“
