Sonnie Badu Adopts Orphanage With Over 60 Children | #TheBADUFoundation
Highly celebrated award-winning Ghanaian Gospel Icon, Dr. Sonnie Badu has officially adopted the Chosen Children Center, an orphanage home based in Darkuman, a suburb of Accra under the ‘Badu Foundation.’
The adoption, which formed part of his philanthropic projects, would see Sonnie Badu taking care of major needs of the orphanage.

According to ModernGhana, The international recording artist used this occasion as part of the season of giving to present food among other items and cash to the Managing Director of Chosen Children Center, Madam Gertrude Mensah-Bonsu.
It also reports that, Sonnie Badu’s mother Julia Agyemang has been a loyal partner of the Chosen Children Center since she had always touched lives, hence he thought it laudable for him to step in and also offer help to the kids.
“I thank God for the wonderful work he is doing through the Badu Foundation; I must say this is one of the many projects across Ghana, Nigeria, and Africa at large. We want to give hope to the next generation to secure the future of Ghana and Africa. I further pledge to offer support every month to this orphanage,” Dr. Sonnie Badu said.
The prolific songwriter and “Baba” Singer has also encouraged his fans and followers to be a blessing to someone in need this festive season. In his words, It’s a blessing to be a blessing to the less blessed … Try it, the feeling is unexplainable!
