This nomination marks the second consecutive nod in this category for Crowder who was recognized last year for “Come As You Are,” also found on Neon Steeple. After a music video filled with camera shots captured by drones, complete with lasers, neon and banjos which exclusively premiered on Billboard.com, “Lift Your Head Weary Sinner (Chains)” also proved to be a radio hit for Crowder.
While touring across the U.S., Crowder surprised fans in late October when he dropped the digital Neon Porch Extravaganza, a live album recorded in his new hometown of Atlanta. Neon Porch Extravaganza features six newly recorded live songs and a video element from Neon Steeple, which boldly debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard Top 200.
