#SAMA29: Ntokozo Mbambo & HLE Nominated for “Female Artist of the Year” at 2023 South African Music Awards

The nominees for the 29th annual South African Music Awards #SAMA29 have been revealed with gospel powerhouse Ntokozo Mbambo and HLE, bagging nominations in multiple categories including the coveted ‘Female Artist of the Year’ category.

In addition to their nominations in the ‘Female Artist of the Year’ category, Ntokozo Mbambo and HLE have earned recognition in the ‘Best Contemporary Faith Music Album’ category. Ntokozo Mbambo’s latest project, ‘Lavish Worship,’ and HLE’s ‘Take Heart’ have both been nominated in this category.

Ntokozo’s exceptional work on ‘Lavish Worship’ earned her a third nomination for ‘Album of the Year.’

For the first time in years, SAMA will be relocating the award show from its long-standing home at Sun City. Instead, this year’s edition will be hosted over two nights at the Durban International Convention Centre (ICC) on November 17 and 18.
