The award-winning Afropop sensation famed for her popular hit ‘Kedike,’ has hinted at fully embracing her Christian root-faith, setting off a possible new journey for her music (to Gospel).

“My Message is Jesus,” reads the updated Instagram profile of Chidinma who weeks ago, deleted all her pictures/posts on the popular social media platform and replaced them with a new one that says she is “Temporarily closed for spiritual maintenance”.

Her recent actions have fueled lots of questions among fans and music lovers as to the singer’s next move and heightened anticipation of her fully revealing it.

Recall in 2019, the MTN project fame Season 3 introduced her millions of fans to her Christian roots with the release of “HOLY,” a beautiful worship song produced by Nigeria gospel superstar Frank Edwards. The single was well-received by fans and gospel music lovers with over a million YouTube views.
