Urban Zambian recording artist and songwriter, Mulenga releases “InTanda,” the first single off his upcoming new project (EP). The beautiful and inspiring track features fellow Zambian singer-songwriter, Emily Hakoola.
In his words, “Shine your light in this dark world. Shine like the stars across the sky and let Jesus Christ’s name extend across the world,only he can save us! Shine! Shine!”

Artist Profile
Born on the 2nd Of March in Ndola, Zambia, Mulenga Chanda was raised by a single mother. He grew up in both Lusaka and Ndola which brought about his love for traveling and reading.
Mulenga’s love for reading and passion to write music began at age 10 and He has won numerous talent competitions in primary school. Growing up in church inspired him to write music that brought hope and love to the people around the community.
At age 14 , Mulenga met Abel Chungu Musuka who in turn introduced him to Pompi and inspired him to grow his talent in order for him to have an impact in society. In 2013 whilst pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance which he completed and graduated with honors, Chanda had a big break as a writer after he co-wrote Esther Chungu Mubanga’s Runaway child plus other credited works with various artists.
In 2018, he finally launched his music career as an artist. Mulenga also gets his inspiration from Strive Masiyiwa, Martin Luther King Jr,Obama ,James Sakala,Richard Bona and Funbi. He has vowed to continuously inspire people and preach hope & Love across the world through his writings, music and passion for people. As of today, he wishes to open an arts school one day and grow as an entrepreneur in Africa and the whole world at large.
