“I read that the man who stands by your side during the nine months is as vital as water to a watercolor painting, creating a beautiful canvas. This couldn’t be truer for you, my love. From your declarations and prayers to making me smile on difficult days and traveling for hours to find something I could eat when I had little appetite—you were my constant source of strength.
Despite the doctor’s reports, you reminded me that our faith and hope were in God’s word and promises, and here we are. This is the doing of the Lord. People say, ‘Marie, you handled pregnancy well,’ but it’s because of the treasure God gave me in you. Thank you for being my pillar. I thank God for you every day.”
