Listen: Chris Tomlin – “Be The Moon” feat. Brett Young & Cassadee Pope

Grammy Award-winning Contemporary Christian Gospel singer/songwriter Chris Tomlin has unwrapped a new single “Be The Moon” off his upcoming album, “Chris Tomlin & Friends,” out digitally on July 31st and in stores August 28.  The symbolic track which features Brett Young and Cassadee Pope, was penned by Chris himself, Corey Crowder, and Tyler Hubbard.

Taking to Instagram to reveal the inspiration behind his new song, Chris Tomlin said;

“The Moon is not striving to be anything; it just puts itself in the right place and reflects the light of the sun. It’s the same for us, we have no light of our own but reflect a greater light, the light of God. This is the essence of Christianity.”

 “Chris Tomlin & Friends,” is available now to Pre-Order on digital platforms. The forthcoming project serves as Chris’ thirteenth album and is executive produced by Florida Georgia Line. It features guest appearances by Russell Dickerson, Chris Lane, RaeLynn, Cassadee Pope, More.

Corey Crowder produced 12 out of 13 tracks with David Garcia producing one track and Ed Cash and Dave Haywood each co-producing one.
