Kierra Sheard Delivers Stellar Performance on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert

Chart-topping recording artist, actress, and entrepreneur Kierra Sheard Kelly took center stage at NPR’s Tiny Desk in celebration of their 2024 Black Music Month live series.

Premiered on Friday (June 14) on YouTube, Sheard’s performance featured a band of talented instrumentalists, including her brother and longtime producer J. Drew Sheard on drums, along with impressive background vocalists.

The multi-Stellar Award winner delivered live renditions of fan favorites such as ‘It Keeps Happening,’ ‘Indescribable,’ ‘You Don’t Know,’ ‘Something Has To Break,’ ‘Hang On,’ and other deep cuts from her albums. In a light-hearted moment, Sheard quipped, “I don’t wanna make this Tiny Desk Sunday morning service,” after a moment of praise.
