Hip Hop icon Kanye West emerged top winner at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards, bagging four trophies including Top Gospel Artist and Top Gospel Album (Jesus is King). The rapper also won “Top Christian Album” for the record-breaking project, “Jesus is King”.
Reacting to the wins, Kanye tweeted: “Thank God for the favor the increase and these YEEZY SLIIIIIIIDZZZZ ⛷ thank Billboard awards for the 9 nominations and 4 wins. Invite me next time and I’ll pull up”
Christian music singer, Lauren Daigle was named “Top Christian Artist” of the year at the Award ceremony while Australian Christian Pop Duo,, For King & Country was awarded “Top Christian Song” of the year for “God Only Knows”.
