Iconic American rapper and record producer Kanye West is steadily basking in the euphoria of his newfound love for Christ. The multiple award winner alongside his choir band on Friday 15th November secretly rendered songs off his new album “Jesus is King” at the Harris County Jail in Houston.

Sources say he and his choir performed for more than 200 male inmates at one jail facility before crossing the street to another jail facility and performing for a smaller crowd of female inmates.

“Now that I’m in service to Christ, my job is to spread the gospel” these were the words of Kanye in a recent interview with Beat’s 1 Radio Zane Lowe.

The video below gives a brief highlight to the experience at the Harris County Jail, as prisoners were seen acknowledging the invitation to accept Jesus as their personal savior, also leaving some teary.

This notable event takes place two days ahead of when Kanye is due to speak and perform along with his choir at Joel Osteen’s vast Lakewood Church in Houston.
