‘Hagiazo’ – Dunsin Oyekan Drops New Anthem

Following the impactful release of his previous worship single “Who is Like You?”, celebrated gospel psalmist and revivalist, Dunsin Oyekan, returns with a profound new offering titled “HAGiAZO”—a powerful spiritual declaration and a call to rededication.

The title “HAGiAZO”, a Greek word, translates to “to sanctify, to make holy, to consecrate, to set apart.” More than a song, it is a divine summons, challenging the body of Christ to return to a life set apart for God—holy, consecrated, and wholly surrendered.

A deeply scriptural and spirit-breathed release, “HAGiAZO” echoes a divine urgency in these times—one that calls believers to live as vessels of honor, separated for the Master’s use. The track is both a prophetic cry and a heart cry, emphasizing that our lives are no longer our own, but set apart unto Christ.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the song, Dunsin Oyekan shared:

“Hagiazo—means “to set apart from profane things”—is an instruction to the body of Christ. Rooted in the truth of Scripture, this song reminds us that in every house, there are many vessels—but only some are vessels of honour. We have been bought with a price. We are those vessels set apart by God, called to reflect His holiness in a corrupt world.

This song is a prophetic cry from heaven to earth—a call to rise, to remember who we are in Christ. Our job is not to conform, but to transform. Not to blend in, but to shine. We are not profane. We are sacred. Chosen. Different. Set apart. And now more than ever, heaven is calling us to live like it.

Hagiazo, Hagiazo, Hagiazo—will you listen? Will you set yourself apart today, and walk worthy of the calling?”

The message of the song is underscored with scriptures including:

  • 1 Peter 2:9: “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation…”

  • 1 Peter 1:15-16: “Be holy, for I am holy.”

  • Romans 12:1-2: “Present your bodies a living sacrifice… be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

  • 2 Timothy 2:20-21: “If anyone cleanses himself… he will be a vessel for honour, sanctified and useful for the Master…”
