Full list of Nominees for GMA Dove Awards 2023: Brandon Lake Leads
After heightened anticipation, the Gospel Music Association has announced the full list of nominees for the 54th annual GMA Dove Awards with Maverick City Music’s Brandon Lake leading the with 11 nods including ‘Artist of the Year’ and ‘Song of the Year’.
Other top nominees include songwriter Jeff Pardo with eight (8) nominations, and Jason Ingram and Kirk Franklin receiving six (6) nominations each. Katy Nichole, Lauren Daigle, and Naomi Raine also bagged four (4) nominations.
Nominees were announced in an artist-hosted livestream event featuring Jason Crabb, Jordan Feliz, Danny Gokey, Natalie Grant, and JJ Hairston. The announcement premiered live on the GMA Dove Awards YouTube.
Established in 1969, the Dove Awards is an initiative of the Gospel Music Association (GMA) of the United States saddled with the responsibility of recognizing outstanding achievement in the Christian music industry. The GMA Dove Awards is scheduled to hold on October 17, 2023, at the Allen Arena, Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee.
