Esther Chungu Performs Her Song “Jehovah” with Coldplay at Global Citizens Festival
Award-winning Zambian gospel sensation and Humanitarian, Esther Chungu was introduced and accompanied by British rock band Coldplay at the New York Global Citizens Festival where she delivered a stellar performance of her hit song, “Jehovah“. The 24-hour show which kicked-off on Saturday is perhaps one of the biggest international charity events, aimed at raising awareness of climate change, famine, more.
The New York Global Citizens Festival was organized by Global Citizen – a charity organization working to end extreme poverty by 2030. The show featured star-studded guest appearances from over 60 artists from all over the world.
Taking to social media to express her delight, Esther wrote; ”From the day I was born till today, I’ve seen how intentional God has been over my life. ? I’m so humbled and honored to have been his vessel at the New York Global Citizen Festival and to proclaim his goodness to 70, 000 people and millions of viewers all over the world.”
With a heart full of gratitude, She Added saying “Thank you to Chris Martin for inviting me and thank you to @coldplay for playing the song for me.
