Billionaire Honor: Kirk Franklin Makes History with Pandora!

Multiple GRAMMY® award winning artist/songwriter/producer, Kirk Franklin, has been honored with a Billionaire plaque from Pandora for having over 1.6 billion spins on the platform.

On Thursday August 15th, The music streaming company surprised Franklin at the Los Angeles stop of his LONG LIVE LOVE TOUR, by presenting prestigious award to him on-stage.

“It is truly humbling that the music God let me borrow has touched so many people, and that they still choose to listen with so many incredible gospel artists out there.” Kirk said, after receiving the plague.

This “Billionaire” honor comes on the heels of the release of his thirteenth studio album, LONG LIVE LOVE (Fo Yo Soul / RCA), which recently made history by topping all five of Billboard’s gospel charts simultaneously

The album has also been atop Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart for ten consecutive weeks and spawned the smash hit, “Love Theory,” which has been #1 on the Hot Gospel Songs chart for 28 straight weeks.
