BET Awards 2023: Kirk Franklin & Maverick City Music Win Dr. Bobby Jones Best Gospel Award

Contemporary worship music collective, Maverick City Music and gospel music icon, Kirk Franklin bag yet another trophy for their collaboration as they took home the Dr. Bobby Jones Best Gospel/Inspirational Award for their single “Bless Me,” at the 2023 BET Awards which was held last Sunday, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.

The song “Bless Me” is housed in Maverick City Music’s collaboration album with Kirk Franklin which dropped in June 2022.
