Popular Nigerian Guitarist Femi Leye has released a brand new single called “Smile.” The song is a fine blend of African sounds mixed with contemporary music. It talks about how important it is to view life from a positive perspective, looking at our lives closely and knowing that there is always a reason to smile. It has different traditional percussion instruments mixed with some piano, bass guitar, drums, acoustic guitar and jazz guitar.
According to Femi, “The song came from a pure place filled with joy and happiness and is a breath of fresh air compared to any kind of music especially in Africa”
With a melody that is smooth, simple and very catchy, the track expresses the uniqueness of Femi Leye as an Artiste as well as his creativity to put together in an afro jazz fusion which can cut across not just Africa, but the world.
