Maverick City Music & Kirk Franklin Set to Drop Collab Single, Share Teaser

Grammy Award-winning worship music collective, Maverick City Music and Gospel music icon, Kirk Franklin have announced the release of their collaborative single set to arrive next week.

Taking to social media, both artists shared a video teaser, giving fans an early treat of the forthcoming single releasing next Friday, May 20. The song was captured during their visit to Everglades Correctional Institution (ECI) in Florida, in December 2021, as they led prison inmates in praise-worship.

“Ever wonder what heaven would sound like? Just listen to God’s children at the Everglades Correctional Facility!,” Maverick City Music captioned.

Recall, Maverick City Music and Kirk Franklin are also set to embark on a ‘KINGDOM‘ Tour featuring special guests Jonathan McReynolds and Housefires.

Produced by Live Nation and Undivided, the 37-city tour kicks off on June 1st at FTX Arena in Miami, FL making stops across North America in Atlanta, Toronto, Nashville, Los Angeles, and more before wrapping up in Denver, CO at Ball Arena on July 31st. At the conclusion of the Kingdom Tour, a collaboration album, Kingdom, will follow featuring Maverick City Music and Kirk Franklin
