Modot Dominic Releases Debut Single “UTIBE MKPO”
Nigerian gospel artiste and minister, Modot Dominic makes a strong and lasting first impression with the release of her debut single, “UTIBE MKPO“. The mid-tempo thanksgiving track titled in her local ‘Ibibio’ dialect translates as “Miraculous Thing” in English.
Having actively over the years, worked and served as a professional backup vocalist in several choirs, concerts, sharing stages with celebrated music ministers in the country, “UTIBE MKPO” finds Modot coming into her own as a recording artiste and songwriter.
According to the singer, the past year has been quite overwhelming following the passing of her mum, and the song, “UTIBE MKPO” is her heartfelt gratitude to God for his faithfulness after the great loss.
