Protek Illasheva Gives Visual Treatment to “I Gat Love” ft. Eli-J

Nigerian Christian Rapper and Hip Hop sensation Protek Illasheva is out with the official video for “I Gat Love,” from his newly-released album, Counter Culture – the follow up to “Heaven Indigene“ EP.

Serving as the 8th track on Counter Culture, ‘I Gat Love’ features soulful vocals from Eli J.  It also serves the third track to be given a music video from the project.

According to protek, Counter Culture is a paradigm shift from the normal thought process of the everyday person. “for in a time and age where the phrase “Do it for the culture” is a prevalent statement; the question to be asked is What’s your culture? A culture is a set of values and philosophies that govern a group of people. Many without knowing, have lost their identity/self/dogma to religion, trends/clout, all in the quest to blend in.” He Adds

The 12-track set features guest appearances from African hip-hop legends; M.I. Abaga, Rooftop Mcs, Vector, and UK based Songbird, Naffymar. It also features South African spoken word artist/rapper, Mercy Tschiamo, and Nigeria’s Eli-J, Limoblaze, Chize as well as young rising stars with amazing vocals K3ndrick and Brain.
