BET Awards 2019: Snoop Dogg Bags Gospel Award for “Blessing Me Again”
Winners of the 2019 BET awards have been announced and Hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg, Legendary gospel singer Rance Allen won the Dr. Bobby Jones Best Gospel/Inspirational Award for their song “Blessing Me Again.”
A lot of mixed reactions have sprung up following the news as some felt he shouldn’t have been nominated for a gospel award. See reactions from some twitter users below;
I thought it was a good album and I really enjoyed the versatility on it; however I think there could have been other choices for Gospel album of the year but I don't think this was a crime. Just my opinion.

Blessing Me Again is one of the tracks from Snoop’s first-ever gospel album “Bible of Love,” released in 2018.The 32-track double LP features performances by Snoop and an all-star lineup of artists handpicked by him and his co-executive producer, Lonny Bereal, who also performs on the record.
