2019 Grammy® Awards: Tori Kelly, Lauren Daigle Win Big!

The 61st annual Grammy Awards ceremony took place on Sunday night at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. The 2019 awards show hosted by Alicia Keys, are in the books!

Tori Kelly and Lauren Daigle bagged two Grammys each in the CCM/Gospel categories, taking home the major trophies. Multiple award-winning Soweto Gospel Choir also won the “Best World Music Album” Grammy for their collection of songs titled Freedom.

“What a wild day. i still don’t know how i was somehow able to soak the tears back into my eyes as i was walking up to accept each of these” says Tori via an Instagram post, “Dreamed about this since i was a kid. never thought i would get 2 in 1 night. i don’t think i fully even know what happened, i just know that i’m so incredibly grateful & will never forget this feeling. all glory to God.
