Frank Edwards Reveals Why He Featured on MI’s Song, “If It Was Now, I Wouldn’t Do It”
Nigerian Gospel star, Frank Edwards has taken to social media to finally reveal the reason Why he collaborated with hip-hop artiste, MI, on a song titled The Chairman, released in 2014.
Addressed publicly for the first time, The Mma Mma singer took out time to answer the question when asked by one of his fans during an Instagram Live session of his on-going #InstaChoir music training, co-hosted by Chee.
“Let me clearly say, If it was now, I wouldn’t do it” Frank stated, “MI reached out to me saying He wants to do a Gospel song and i was excited. Because the title of his album is Chairman, He told me he just wanted to let people know that Jesus is the Chairman, That got my attention“
Frank also said He wasn’t aware of the other features on the song (Oritse Femi & Nanya), “By the time we were done and i heard all the people who featured, i said ‘Chineke me e’, and some of my fans were not happy with it“
“The clear truth is I Know Better Now and there is nothing wrong with the song” He Added
